Feeding Therapy
If you are concerned about your child’s feeding or have a medical diagnosis (NG/Gtube, tracheostomy tube, prematurity, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, cleft lip & palate, aspiration, etc), your child may need feeding therapy. We have specialized training and experience in medically complex feeding. In order to get scheduled for feeding therapy, your child’s pediatrician or dentist must fax or email a prescription for services and fill out this referral form. Once a prescription and referral are received, we will reach out to schedule. Note, there is currently a waitlist for therapy.
What’s the difference between an infant feeding consultation and feeding therapy?
The biggest difference between these two appointment types is duration of services. Feeding therapy is typically for children who need a longer duration of care. Feeding therapy patients will have a formal evaluation, and assigned a weekly appointment time with specific therapeutic goals to work on to reach feeding outcomes.
We are in-network with Babynet and Fee For Service Medicaid for feeding therapy services. All other insurance types will be private pay, and a Superbill will be provided for reimbursement.
